Who we are and what this covers

Bejinji (Korean business registration number 833-39-01336) provides KkiniPick: Food Diary. This notice describes the KkiniPick app. Other Bejinji apps have their own notices. Contact us about privacy at contact@bejinji.com.

Your diary on your device

Meal photos, dates and times, notes, food tags, calories and satisfaction entries are stored in the app’s storage on your device. Body information you enter and app preferences are also stored locally. The app currently has no account registration or Bejinji-operated diary synchronization service.

The app is not implemented to upload the contents of your meal photos or notes to analytics or advertising services. Usage events, including that a record was created and its date, are sent as described below. Device backups may separately be handled by Apple according to your backup settings.

Usage analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand use and improve features. Information may include an app-instance identifier, device and app information, screen events, meal-created events (record number and date), reminder settings and times, permission results, reminder taps, and time between a reminder and a meal entry.

Advertising choices and app analytics are separate. The app currently has no separate analytics opt-out switch. You can contact us to ask questions or exercise applicable privacy rights.

Diagnostics and operation

Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports, error messages and stack traces, device and app versions, installation identifiers and diagnostic logs to help investigate faults. Diagnostics may contain technical details such as file paths, internal record numbers and database status. Firebase Remote Config uses installation identifiers and related information to deliver operational settings such as advertising availability and update notices.

Advertising and your choices

The app displays Google AdMob ads. Google’s advertising SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device and advertising identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostics and performance data. Uses include delivering and measuring ads and preventing abuse; actual processing depends on consent and device settings.

Before requesting ads, the app checks Google’s consent status. Where applicable, a consent message appears and available choices can be revisited through advertising privacy options in app settings. You can also manage iOS tracking permission in device settings. Declining tracking does not mean that all ads or all analytics stop.

Device permissions

Camera access supports taking meal photos, photo access supports importing images you choose, and notification permission supports meal reminders. You can change permissions in device settings; the corresponding features may be unavailable when permission is denied. The app does not request precise location permission.

Retention and deletion

Local diary entries remain until you delete them. Delete individual entries or use Delete all data in settings to remove meal records and their associated app-stored photos. This action targets meal records; it does not erase app preferences or previously transmitted analytics, advertising or diagnostic data. Manage original images in your photo library and device backups separately.

Google service data follows service-specific policies and project settings. Google states that Crashlytics begins removing crash data and associated identifiers after 90 days. Analytics retention depends on service settings. We do not promise an unverified fixed retention period or immediate deletion.

Providers and international processing

We use Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics and Remote Config for the purposes above. Related information is transmitted over the internet and may be processed in Google’s global facilities, including the United States. KkiniPick does not currently use PostHog. See the official provider documents below for further processing and retention information.

Contact and privacy rights

Contact contact@bejinji.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or help with consent. You may exercise rights available under the laws of your location and contact your local supervisory authority. As the app has no accounts, we may need limited additional information to locate particular remote records. We use your inquiry and reply address to respond and handle your request. Please avoid including unnecessary meal photos or health information in email.

We will update this page and its date when our practices change, and provide an in-app notice where appropriate.
